To establish clear expectations around these boundaries, we make it clear that Simpal is:
Not a Certification Substitute
Simpal is not a substitute for final certification, regulatory testing, or full experimental qualification. Physical validation remains mandatory for compliance.
Not a Universal Oracle
It is not presented as a universal fracture predictor or a universal polymer-property oracle. Predictions are strictly bounded by the underlying physical assumptions.
Not a Lab Replacement
Its value is not a claim that simulation replaces laboratory testing. Its true value is that physically informed virtual experiments can expose material trade-offs earlier and guide targeted validation with clearer assumptions.
Not a Chemistry Simulation Engine
Because Simpal relies on physics simulations and PINN (Physics-Informed Neural Network) architectures, modeling chemical reactions is beyond our scope. We excel specifically at predicting physical phenomena such as mechanical behaviour, polymer compatibility, and rheology.
When is Simpal Strongest?
Simpal's predictive value is highest when:
- The material family is clearly defined.
- The property target is isolated (e.g., rheology windows, blend compatibility).
- The simulation protocol aligns with the physical mechanics of the use case.
- A well-defined validation dataset is available for calibration.
